The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a young adult series written by Suzanne Collins. These novels imagine a post-apocalyptic world where the United States no longer exists. In its place is Panem, split into 13 districts and ruled by an unmerciful government. This government picks two teenagers from each district and they are forced to fight to the death in a televised event. The two heroes, Katniss and Peeta form a strong bond despite unthinkable conditions in The Hunger Games arena.

Since the publication of the first novel in 2008, The Hunger Games have inspired worldwide fandom. Here’s just a sample of ways for teenagers to get involved in The Hunger Games Universe.
